We started at the age of 16, roughly, up until now when I’m 24, and in that period we’ve seen an awful lot of the world, relatively little of our families, and have had absolutely no private life. I think there is a point where you sort of react against that. Now we’re getting to a stage where we’re defining our own personalities much more strongly. Edge is married, he has a child. Bono is married. You know, it’s a different situation than what we were like eight years ago, just starting out. You have to face facts, but not see it as a threat to the band.
